A workshop through Science,
Technology, Engineering, Design & Technology, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM)
Education was held on 29th March 2021 at Sekolah Menengah Menglait. Package N -
Facilitation of School’s Environmental Programmes which consist of training and
workshop attended by 80 teachers and 10 students has an objective to raise
awareness and knowledge on the environment for the students and professional
development for the teachers.
The workshop started with an
introduction to the roles and responsibilities of JASTRe on the environment,
followed by an activity session where the teachers and the students discuss and
create ideas on how to make their school environmentally friendly. The activity
also requires them to provide the pros and cons of their ideas as well as the
challenges that they may face.
